Dallas Texans 93 Boys Claim National Championship

Brandon Perez broke a scoreless tie in the 56th minute of play as the Dallas Texans 93 boys defeated the Hicksville Strikers from New York 1-0 to claim the Larry Harmon Cup as U16 National Champions. The Texans defense did a solid job of containing the potent Strikers offense that was led by Colin Heffron and Keith McKenna, who each had notched 3 goals already in the tournament. After opening group play with a 1-1 draw to Campton United, the Texans regrouped to take care of CESA Premier and Arsenal FC to grab the spot in the final.

The Dallas Texans 94 girls fell in penalty kicks to San Diego Surf in the U15 girls championship match after going scoreless through regulation and overtime. The other two Dallas Texans girls teams were unable to advance from group play as both Dallas Texans 93 and 92s fell.
