Jeremy Burkett scores 100th career goal for Mansfield

The offensive player usually has the advantage during a shootout attempt. However, that didn't prevent Mansfield senior forward Jeremy Burkett from getting the jitters before his try last week against Burleson. Not only was Mansfield's unbeaten steak on the line, but Burkett was also sitting on 99 career goals. Burkett scored number 100 as he helped Mansfield to the 1-0 shootout win. Mansfield now sits at 17-0-1 for the season.
"I was worried that I'd push the ball and wouldn't make it," Burkett said. "I feel good about it because not a lot of people get a chance to score 100 goals in their career."
