FC Dallas trades for Kyle Davies

FC Dallas negotiated a trade with Real Salt Lake for the rights to Kyle Davies for a 2nd round pick in the 2010 MLS Superdraft. Kyle Davies appeared for the US U20s in the 2009 CONCACAF U-20 Championship held last month in Trinidad. The 20 yr old defender started all five games in the tournament, helping to lead the squad to a berth in the FIFA Under-20 World Cup to be held in Egypt later this year.
FC Dallas has three 2nd round picks in the 2010 MLS Superdraft. The lowest of the three picks will be sent to Real Salt Lake in the deal. Kyle Davies is left footed and should see time on the outside back.
