Kenny Cooper transferred to 1860 Munich in Germany

Longtime FC Dallas striker Kenny Cooper has been transferred to 1860 Munich of Germany from FC Dallas. Cooper has long been rumoured to be on the move, but it never seemed to come to fruitiion. After a solid Gold Cup performance for the US National Team where he was named to the All Gold Cup Team, Kenny is on his way to Germany.
Kenny Cooper stated “I am very excited and honored to join 1860 Munich. I am hungry and ready to give my all to the club. I hope I will make Lamar and everyone at FC Dallas proud. I wish everyone the very best.”
1860 Munich plays in the Bundesliga second division and is hoping for promotion after this season. The fee has been rumoured at $3 million for the transfer.
“This transfer gives us the resources to continue to build the team and hopefully bring in another talented forward who will be a good fit for our system,” Head Coach Schellas Hyndman said. “I have sincerely enjoyed coaching Kenny in my time with FC Dallas. He is a good teammate, a skilled goal scorer and a great person. We wish him well.”
