Lake Highlands Under 11 Girls Fall Report

Published 11/22/2006 10:53:18 AM by Soccer Xpert Staff from Dallas, Texas U.S.A.

The 96 girls fall season is complete in North Texas and Solar Red leads at the midpoint with Sting Royal and FC Dallas close behind. The Solar Red girls were the only side to go unbeaten in the fall finishing with 8 wins and a draw with a sparkling 18-2 goal differential. Sting Royal sits 2nd with a 7-1-1 record a solid 13-3 goal differential. FC Dallas is third on 20 points and handed Solar Red their only blemish in a 0-0 draw.

ASG Gold Central and Dallas Texans Red are both tied on 15 points with ASG having the better goal differential and a win over the Texans. D'Feeters sit 6th with a record of 4-4-1 with Solar 3 points behind in 7th. There is a definite gap between 7th and the bottom 3 where Mustangs, Solar Blue and Texas Spirit North sit. Mustangs are 8th with 4 points while Solar Blue and Spirit weren't able to notch any wins this fall and sit on 3 and 2 respectively.

The spring should be interesting for sure as the girls grow up and get some indoor play under their belts. Can Solar Red hang onto the top spot? Their defense was stout in the fall but several teams played them tight as five of their wins were by one goal. Can Dallas Texans get it together? ASG definitely has the offensive firepower to move up the standings. Sting Royal is a title contender for sure, but can they get over the top and beat the other big 2? Sting Royal had a loss and a tie against Solar Red and FC Dallas but took care of everyone else. They'll need results against the other top 2 in the spring to get the title. FC Dallas is a solid side but will need a few more goals in the spring to break into the top 2.

In Division 2 Odyssey Gold looks to be the clear class going unbeaten 9-0-0 for the fall and opening up a comfortable 8 point lead over 2nd place Dallas Texans Red South. The fight for second is wide open though as Dallas Texans Red South sit at 19 with NTX Strikers and Sting White both right behind on 17. In Division 3 DFW Tornados White lead on 23 with Wichita Falls Infinity a game behind on 20. Revolution Premier is in the chase at 18 as well.
