FIRST TEAM
F Courtney Cooper (Mansfield Summit, Sr.) The District 4-5A MVP scored 23 goals for the Lady Jaguars. Cooper, the team's captain, was the focal point of the Summit offense.

F Sarah Wilkinson (North Richland Hills Birdville, Sr.) The senior forward accounted for 21 goals and 17 assists and provided a versatile means of goal scoring.

F Lauri Byrne (Southlake Carroll, Sr.) The University of Houston signee paired with Kelsey Allison to form the area's most dangerous tandem. Byrne possessed the rare combination of raw speed and deft technique.

M Ciarra True (Justin Northwest, Sr.) A true impact player who was capable of single-handedly dominating a game. She finished the season with 20 assists, 10 goals and the 5-5A midfield MVP award.

M Stefani Campbell (Mansfield Summit, Soph.) The playmaking midfielder led Summit in assists with 16. She added 15 goals and provided tough, two-way play in the center.

M Tasha Anasi (Arlington Martin, Fr.) Anasi provided a spark of speed and athleticism. Her range throughout midfield is nearly unmatched in this area and she led the Lady Warriors with 11 goals and 6 assists.

M Mary Connally (Arlington Lamar, Jr.) A hard-working midfielder who also possesses soft technical touches, she scored 10 goals, won balls out of the air and looked to guide the transition.

D Julie Conn (Mansfield, Sr.) Conn is a physical defender who brought more than brute tackles and ball-winning. The technically skilled co-captain was the District 4-5A defender of the year.

D Lexi Castellano (Arlington Martin, Jr.) A savvy deep-lying sweeper who read the game at a mature level, Castellano organized the defense for the District 8-5A champs.

D Christie Nylaan (Keller, Sr.) Nylaan, the District 5-5A defensive player of the year, brought imposing size and the tactical ability to keep opposing offenses from getting behind her backline.

GK Mandy Hall (Colleyville Heritage, Sr.) The No. 1 netminder in the area's No. 1 district led all area goalkeepers in shutouts with 15.

SECOND TEAM
F Makenzie Brown (Crowley, Fr.) Brown led the area in goals with 32.

F Kara Brooks (Hurst L.D. Bell, Jr.) The District 7-5A MVP had 28 goals.

F Kelsey Allison (Southlake Carroll, Sr.) Allison posed a danger with 13 goals and 18 assists.

M Whitney Chappell (Fort Worth Southwest, Jr.) The District 6-4A MVP guided Southwest to the playoffs.

M Jordan Leech (Aledo, Jr.) Leech led the area with an eye-opening 31 assists.

M Kirby Zak (Aledo, Soph.) The District 7-4A MVP recorded 16 goals and nine assists.

M Lexi Gebhardt (Hurst L.D. Bell, Soph.) The complete midfielder scored nine goals and had 17 assists.

D Courtney Jennings (Fort Worth Arlington Heights, Jr.) The sweeper brings the ability to elevate the defenders around her.

D Sam McGilvra (Mansfield Summit, Jr.) She was a true shutdown defender for a defense that had an 0.68 goals-against average.

D Kelly Selvage (Richland, Sr.) Even from defense Selvage scored 9 goals and 2 assists.

GK Kelsey Kirwen (Arlington Martin, Sr.) Delicate hands and 12 shutouts helped Martin win 8-5A.

PRIVATE SCHOOLS

PLAYER OF THE YEAR
D Alex Mechalske (Nolan Catholic, Jr.) Mechalske, a defender, is so gifted at winning the ball and then dribbling or passing that she plays her position better than anyone else, overshadowing forwards with gaudy statistics.

F Jackie Torda (Nolan Catholic, Sr.) Torda remained the most dangerous goal scorer in private schools with 25 goals and 18 assists.

F Shelby Campbell (Nolan Catholic, Jr.) Campbell emerged this year as a prolific running mate to Torda with 13 goals, 7 assists.

F Natalie Gamez (Trinity Valley, Sr.) Gamez was a true catalyst for Trinity Valley with 10 goals and 5 assists.

M Mallory Baum (Nolan Catholic, Soph.) Baum established herself as a true central midfielder capable of attack or defense.

M Morgan Ulliman Nolan Catholic, Soph.) Ulliman provided the rare ability to disrupt the opposition then provide a smooth transition.

M Rachel Stepp (Fort Worth Country Day, Sr.) Stepp offered true versatility as either an attacker or a midfielder.

M Tiffini Smith (Fort Worth Country Day, Soph.) Though only a sophomore, Smith excelled as a dangerous central midfielder.

D Taylor McCraw (Nolan Catholic, Jr.) McCraw converted from forward to defense and provided shutdown defensive capabilities.

D Alex Mechalske (Nolan Catholic, Jr.) Mechalske simply is one of the area's most composed defenders regardless of classification.

D Lauren Douglass (Trinity Valley, Sr.) Douglass organized the defense but moved forward to add 7 goals and 5 assists.

GK Allison McCabe (Nolan Catholic, Sr.) McCabe recorded 12 shutouts and 119 saves to lead the Lady Vikings to the state tournament.
