Two of the favorites for the Conference USA title squared off Wednesday night at Westcott Field in Dallas, and senior forward Manuel Mariel's third goal of the season rallied the SMU men's soccer team to a 1-1 tie with South Carolina.

The TCU womens soccer team notched a 3-1 conference victory over New Mexico at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium behind a pair of goals from Jordan Calhoun. The game was played in front of 919 spectators and was the conference opener for TCU.
